The Strength of Force Majeure

Located in the heart of Lahore, Force Majeure Apparel Pvt. Ltd. is one of the key production facilities within the Vortax Group. Here, we produce knitwear, denim and flatknits for international brands and private-label clients. Under Dutch management and equipped with modern facilities, we combine European quality standards with local expertise. With a production capacity exceeding 200,000 knitwear pieces per month and the ability to scale up quickly during peak periods, Force Majeure offers the flexibility required to meet the pace and demands of the fashion industry.

From Order to Start

Once the samples have been approved, the official production process begins. Based on the stylesheet provided by our headquarters, all details are discussed: fit, colours, fabrics, finishes and artworks. We then develop lab dips (colour samples) and strike-offs for artworks, allowing the client to review and approve colours and execution in advance. Any feedback is immediately implemented into the PP sample (pre-production sample), which is submitted for final approval. Only after every detail is confirmed the production is started. Each step – from purchasing to final packing – is carefully planned to ensure quality and lead time.

From Yarn to Fabric

Production starts with the transformation of yarns into knitted fabrics. With our machines we create knitted fabrics in various compositions and structures, tailored to the desired quality and application. The fabric is then dyed in the exact specified Pantone colour. With our modern dyeing and finishing facilities, we achieve deep, durable colours with excellent colour fastness – an essential feature for brands that demand continuity across collections.

Cutting and Optimisation

After dyeing, the fabric is carefully inspected and laid out on the cutting tables. Digital patterns are precisely plotted to maximise fabric efficiency and minimise waste. This digital process guarantees consistent sizing and enhances production efficiency. When a product includes artworks such as prints or embroideries, the relevant panels are separated and sent to the designated departments for finishing.

Artworks

In the artwork departments, prints, embroideries and other decorative elements are applied according to each article’s specifications. Every artwork is inspected for positioning, colour and quality before proceeding to the next stage. All cut components are then grouped by size, colour and article, and prepared for the next phase: garment assembly.

Stitching

The stitching department forms the heart of the factory – this is where each product takes shape. In large production halls, well-trained teams work across various product lines, each specialising in a specific stage of the process. Through clear task division and the combination of skilled craftsmanship with modern production lines and machinery, we achieve a structured workflow with consistent quality. Each line is supervised by experienced managers who monitor finishing and precision, ensuring every garment meets the same high standard regardless of production volume.

Final Inspection and Packing

When production is complete, each garment undergoes a final inspection. In the control and packing department, products are carefully checked, measured, pressed, barcoded and packed according to the customer’s requirements. All orders are consolidated by client and prepared for shipment.

The result: a consistent end product that fully meets the customer’s expectations – ready for worldwide distribution.

From Detail to Delivery

Every step within Force Majeure Apparel Pvt. Ltd. (FMA) serves one purpose: to deliver products that meet the highest standards of our clients. At every stage of the process, we perform intermediate quality checks to ensure any deviations are immediately detected and corrected. With complete control over production, modern facilities and an experienced team, we guarantee quality, flexibility and reliability – from order to packaging.
